Grafting stretch film

DESCRIPTION

Stretch film is product that is used for grafting, usually in a late summer and autumn, July-September. Wheather to use the stretch film or other Vizant products depends on weather conditions, thickness of rootstock and the grafter himself.

Dimensions of stretch film: 30mm x 50 meters in one roll. Single package contains 10 rolls in a bag, larger package contains 50/10 bags in a card box.

One 50-meter roll can be used for grafting of approximately 250-300 plants – (terrain information from the users).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

When it comes to grafting on a sleeping bud, the bud is fixed using the strech film. It is very important that the grafting parts are dry and clean, because this provides better combining of a rootstock and scion. In this way the optimal conditions of the material are met, the film sticks to itself and there is no need to tie the end of the tape around scion, however it is necessary that the end of the film has an even cut and to be pressed at the end. While wrapping the film around a scion the film must be tightened. This procedure ensures the protection of scion, grafting point and the success of the grafting procedure.

THE STRETCH FILM MUST BE REMOVED TO PREVENT ITS INGROWTH IN THE SCION BECAUSE THE STRETCH FILM IS NOT DEGRADABLE.
